What should I write about?
I have lots of ideas, but what would you like me to write about?
I write this blog as a labour of love so my only reward is that people actually read what I am writing.
I have a long list of ideas that I find interesting, but more important is what you find interesting to read.
Therefore I challenge you to send me a word by going to the Contact page and send me an email. Tell me what you would like to read about.
Things to write about could be:
- Case studies about one person/family
- How to’s (e.g. use online sources)
- General Norwegian concepts
- Norwegian history
I can not promise that each and every idea I receive will end up as a blog post, but I will certainly consider every suggestion.
DA making progress on emigration records .. ‘next/previous’ is sometimes available.
I received an email yesterday send through the message feature on my contact page. Tried to respond to sender (initials JN), but the mail bounced as the email address “did not exist”. Maybe a topy when you entered your email address?
Thanks for visiting and taking the time to comment. I will keep a close eye on the Digital Arkivet and try to keep you posted on news, updates etc.
How to create a short presentation (via DVD, Powerpoint or any other software) on family ancestry to show to family members who aren’t necessarily interested in their family history. (Not sure I’m making myself very clear!)
That is a good idea Kay. I am a novice with Powerpoint, but I might do something along that lines.
I like the idea of “general Norwegian concepts” and “Norwegian History”!
Thanks!
