Summer Pause
As the Norwegian summer finally arrives — brief as it may be — it feels right to step away from the desk for a while and spend more time outdoors. There are paths to walk, places to visit, and long bright evenings that should not be wasted.
The blog will therefore take a short summer pause and will return in mid-August with new articles and projects.
While no new posts will appear during the summer break, all existing articles, resources, guides, and research material will remain available as always. Whether you are exploring family history, reading older posts, or searching for historical information, the archive will remain available throughout the summer.
There will probably be some rainy days, and I will use one of those to try to figure out my mailing list. As it stands, some of you who signed up recently are not receiving updates. Hopefully, I will be able to fix this.
If any of you have questions, comments, or suggestions for topics I should cover, I am always happy to hear from you.
Thank you to everyone who has followed along, read, commented, and shared an interest in history, stories, and the traces left by those who came before us.
I wish you all a good summer, and I look forward to returning in August.
