Life in general......

Improve your travel photos

Many of us are doing a bit of travelling now during the summer months. Most of us take pictures from our trips. With very little effort we can increase the quality of our photos. The internet is loaded with information relating to photography. Here are two, of many, videos from Youtube with tips to get better pictures

Becky Higgins is travelling to Italy, but her tips are relevant for you trip to Norway.

Many cameras have different shooting modes. It can be a bit scary to leave the full auto mode, but here is a video telling you how the other modes can improve your pictures.

If these videos didn’t do it for you, there are many other about these topics on Youtube.

If you are considering buying a camera you might want to have a look at the article that I jokingly called “Is there a genealogical camera?” If you buy a new camera for your big trip, be sure to read the manual and get familiarized with it before you go. I once had to assist a turist as all his photos was out of focus. “It should work. I bought it brand new right before we left” he said. He had accidently switched off the autofocus.

I have always enjoyed photography. Here are a few pictures I have taken. (All photos copyrighted)
