This week I present these theme based Friday Finds, as I have done very little in regards to genealogy this week. Actually, I put this article together last week, as my wife and I are now in Greece.
We spend a lot of time collecting information about our ancestors. We should also spend some time thinking of how to present our findings. Here are some articles that gives us ideas as to how to present a family history.
This is different takes on the same topic and a lot of the information given in the different articles are similar.
The Armchair Genealogist, Lynn Palermo has a lof of interesting articles about creating and publishing. Check out her articles at Writing Your Family History

Maybe you like to learn by listening? At the Open University there are seven Podcast tracks that talks about writing family history. The website claims that when writing on a topic with little research, interviewing witnesses and relatives becomes paramount. Therefore some of the tracks deal with interviewing technique Check out the podcast Writing family history.
There are several YouTube videos about writing family history. here is one from BYU Family History Library. It is a recorded webinar by Heather Pack called How to Write a Compelling Story About your Ancestor
One way to get started writing family history is to write your own personal history. In the blog Family History Quick Start we are presented with a way to write that personal history and finish it bit by bit. Read Writing your Personal History
