52 ancestors in 52 weeks
The 52 ancestors in 52 weeks challenge is live again
The 52 ancestor challenge sends us weekly prompts to get us to think about an ancestor and share something about them. The guesswork of “who should I write about” is taken care of.
Last year I had ambitions to participating in this challenge. I did publish a number of articles, but for different reasons, I didn’t make it to 52. My friend Kendall Gibson from New Zealand was kind and shared many of her articles with us.
You can find the “52 ancestors” articles posted on this blog here.
It’s Amy Johnson Crow who hosts this challenge. Go to her website and see if this is something you would like to take part in.
If you don’t have a place to publish your stories, I am happy to do so here on my blog. I think it is very interesting to learn about other genealogist’s work and to read about their ancestors.
