Stories by and about Norwegian immigrants
A visit to the Wisconsin Historical Society’s website brought up some interesting results.
Browsing the net I came by the Wisconsin Historical Society’s website and came across some interesting newspaper article by and about Norwegian immigrants.
The link below will take you to 46 articles by and about Norwegian immigrants published between 1893 and 1939. These include short biographies, reminiscences, interviews, memoirs, and obituaries. When scanning the table of brief titles, click the title  to see the original newspaper article.
The online collection of Wisconsin Local History & Biography Articles contains more than 50,000 pages. It is well worth to take a look if you have ancestors in Wisconsin as this is a treasure trove of interesting information. A good Place to start could be the article “Collections overview”
The website has a good search interface. Note that you can check the “search within” (your search results)  box to refine your hits.
Make sure you have a large jug of coffee ready. This is a website to spend the entire evening with.
