Reduced functionality in Digitalarkivet
It seems like the search function in the Norwegian Digital archives (Digitalarkivet) has an error. This error occurred September 20.
I discovered today that some of the filters do not kick in when making a search. I have experienced this when trying to filter on birth year. Also when filtering on the year an event took place and the timeframe for sources.
Having visited the Digital archive’s user forum I learn that many other people experience the same thing and that the support staff is working to fix the issue.
We can still use the digital archives, but as the mentioned filters do not kick in, we must be prepared to wade through a lot of irrelevant hits.

Me too! I’m getting way more hits than usual, as the date filters are not being applied. Glad to know it is a known problem and that it is being worked on.
