Quick tips: Remember the zoom
Introducing a new segment: Quick tips
I have decided to add a new segment to my blog called “Quick tips”. This is to present small pieces of information that do not call for a full article.
I begin with the feature in the Digital archives called “Remember the zoom”.
While browsing the scanned images, it is nice to be able to zoom in to e.g. focus on one column. I have had readers ask me about this as they are annoyed with having to apply the zoom again every time they turn the page.
This problem can be overcome by applying the “remember zoom” feature.
When looking at a scanned image, click the “I” (Source information) button in the upper right corner
This brings us to this menu where we click the sprocket
In this menu, we simply tick off the box ” Remember zoom”
This will keep us at the same zoom level when we turn the page.
Takk, Martin!
That’s a great tip. I do a lot of zooming.
Thank you!
