Quick tips – Make a wish!

It’s still time to tell your special Santa what you would like for Christmas.

If your Santa wants to get you a gift that can be very helpful in your genealogy work, I suggest that he gives you a second PC monitor. I have used a second monitor for years and it is very convenient as I have my genealogy software on one screen and the records I search on the other. There are many other situations where it’s great to have a second screen.

Most laptops can also be fitted with a second monitor.

Here is my setup. The right monitor is mounted on an arm that makes me able to swivel it to the side when I need to use the scanner.

You can support this blog by shopping at Amazon. You can review the monitors below, or search for any product in the search bar at the bottom.
