I have now made a cheat sheet to help you search the Norwegian naval records.<\/p>\n

You can access this cheat sheet (and other documents) by going to my Downloads<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

As I mentioned in my article, naval records are not the easiest records to search. Hopefully, this overview of the headings can help you.<\/p>\n

If we do manage to find our ancestors in these records, it can help put some meat on the often meager bones we, as genealogists, are forced to deal with.<\/p>\n
