These records can be searched for free.<\/p>\n<p>The records were originally preserved on microfilm. They have now been transcribed thanks to the hard work of 165,590 online FamilySearch volunteers. The searchable database contains 65 million names.<\/p>\n<p>Many of us are used to the FamilySearch Interface. The The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Inc. Interface are equally intuitive and easy to use.
