The time flew past and the changing landscape from fjords, barren high altitude plateau, snow capped mountains and pine forests and lakes kept my attention high throughout the journey. I can&#8217;t recommend enough this experience. Is it one of Europe&#8217;s or the World&#8217;s best train journey? You decide &#8211; maybe from this video or experiencing for yourself.<\/p>\n<p>I bought the tickets online directly from NSB:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsb.no\/en\/frontpage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.nsb.no\/en\/frontpage<\/a><\/p>\n<p>My train journey was to take more than the 6hr 45 min scheduled. The train was delayed by more than an hour &#8211; a quick search online confirmed that I was entitled to a refund for such a delay:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsb.no\/en\/our-tickets\/booking-conditions\/how-to-claim-a-refund-and-compensation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.nsb.no\/en\/our-tickets\/booking-conditions\/how-to-claim-a-refund-and-compensation<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The train also stops at Myrdal station where you can take the branch line to Fl\u00e5m.
