I must admit that I have never been in Fl\u00e5m. In spite of a somewhat annoying windshield viper it is quite fascinating to view this winter voyage from the train driver&#8217;s seat.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dlSuu9wD4_M?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<p>Linked from YouTube channel\u00a0<a class=\"yt-simple-endpoint style-scope yt-formatted-string\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCj-Xm8j6WBgKY8OG7s9r2vQ\">HinduCowGirl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Winter has finally hit the steepest normal gauge railway in northern Europe.<\/p>\n<p>With its gradient of 1:18 (55\u2030) you can say it can be somewhat challenging if the snow becomes to deep. Thankfully I had two EL18\u2019s at my disposal, with a total of 15.000hp and only four B3 carriages.<\/p>\n<p>The Fl\u00e5m Line goes from Fl\u00e5m to Myrdal where it connects to the Bergen Line. Fl\u00e5m is located 2m (6.5ft) above sea level and Myrdal is located 866m (2841ft) above sea level.
