{"id":4773,"date":"2017-06-25T17:00:22","date_gmt":"2017-06-25T16:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/martinroe.com\/blog\/?p=4773"},"modified":"2017-06-25T12:26:39","modified_gmt":"2017-06-25T11:26:39","slug":"summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/martinroe.com\/blog\/summer\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Summer is the time to relax, so I will take some time off blogging<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As the summer is here and many of you will be taking time off genealogy, I will take some time off blogging.<\/p>\n<p>This does not necessarily mean that there will be no updates to my blog as I have some &#8220;pre-fabricated&#8221; book recommendations and videos scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>Some of you are struggling with the new interface at Digitalarkivet. I have posted some article about this and, as promised, I will write more. Some of the features have not been put in place. Also, having monitored the user forum at Digitalarkivet I learn that some of the features might be rolled back to look more like we were used to in the old design. To not create confusion I will wait a bit before I write more about Digitalarkivet.<\/p>\n<p>You might want to have a look at the articles I have written about the redesign.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/martinroe.com\/blog\/index.php\/2017\/06\/06\/the-norwegian-digitalarkivet-with-new-design\/\">Digitalarkivet redesigned<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/martinroe.com\/blog\/index.php\/2017\/06\/10\/digitalarkivets-find-source-feature\/\">&#8220;Find source&#8221; feature.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have updated my article about the <a href=\"https:\/\/martinroe.com\/blog\/index.php\/2016\/03\/28\/norwegian-censuses\/\">Norwegian censuses<\/a> to reflect the new design.<\/p>\n<p>Even though I take time off blogging, I am, like always, available to answer comments and questions.
