The valley is situated in <a title=\"Aurland\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aurland\" target=\"_blank\">Aurland municipality<\/a> in <a title=\"Sogn og Fjordane\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sogn_og_Fjordane\" target=\"_blank\">Sogn og Fjordane<\/a> county, to the south of the <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Sognefjorden\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sognefjorden\" target=\"_blank\">Sognefjorden<\/a>. One of the best-known tourist tracks in Norway follows the valley from <a title=\"Geiteryggen\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Geiteryggen\" target=\"_blank\">Geiteryggen<\/a> just across the border of <a title=\"Hol\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hol\" target=\"_blank\">Hol<\/a> municipality and north east to <a title=\"Aurlandsvangen\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aurlandsvangen\" target=\"_blank\">Aurlandsvangen<\/a> at the <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Aurlandsfjorden\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aurlandsfjorden\" target=\"_blank\">Aurlandsfjorden<\/a> in <a title=\"Sogn\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sogn\" target=\"_blank\">Sogn<\/a>.
