I\u2019ve published two new notebooks, both built around a problem that most of us know rather well: forgetting things we were absolutely certain we would remember.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The title says it all: this is the perfect funny reminder notebook for keeping track of things you might forget.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UFFDA! I KEEP FORGETTING STUFF<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>A notebook for the things I was absolutely going to remember.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And yes, I suspect quite a few of us could use one.<\/p>\n<h2>Two covers, the same familiar problem<\/h2>\n<p>I decided to make two versions of this funny reminder notebook, each with its own illustrated cover.<\/p>\n<p>One features a woman enjoying a cup of coffee while trying to remember what she was supposed to do. Her cat seems to be taking the whole situation rather more calmly than she is.<\/p>\n<p>The other features a gentleman in a cosy knitted jumper, looking equally thoughtful \u2014 or perhaps simply wondering where he put his glasses.<\/p>\n<p>Both covers capture that familiar moment when you know you had something to do, something to buy, or somewhere to be, but the information has apparently left the building.<\/p>\n<p>I thought it would be fun to offer a choice. After all, forgetfulness doesn&#8217;t discriminate.<\/p>\n<h2>What can you use it for?<\/h2>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">The idea behind this notebook is wonderfully simple. Each <em>Uffda! I Keep Forgetting Stuff<\/em> notebook contains <strong>120 lined pages<\/strong> where you can write down all those little things that tend to disappear from your mind at the least convenient moment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Things you need to do.<\/li>\n<li>Things you need to buy.<\/li>\n<li>Appointments and reminders.<\/li>\n<li>Ideas you don&#8217;t want to lose.<\/li>\n<li>The name of that book someone recommended.<\/li>\n<li>The thing you came into the room to fetch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You know the drill.<\/p>\n<p>A funny reminder notebook won&#8217;t magically improve your memory, but it can give all those loose ends somewhere to live other than the back of your mind.<\/p>\n<p>And unlike a phone app, it won&#8217;t interrupt you with notifications, demand an update, or need charging. You just open it, write something down, and carry on with your day.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, you still have to remember where you put the notebook. I haven&#8217;t quite solved that problem yet.<\/p>\n<h2>A small gift with a sense of humor<\/h2>\n<p>I also think these notebooks could make amusing little gifts for friends, family members, colleagues, or anyone who has ever walked into a room and immediately forgotten why.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re suitable for birthdays, Christmas stockings, office gift exchanges, or simply as a small present for someone who appreciates a bit of everyday humor.<\/p>\n<p>The joke isn&#8217;t really about being forgetful.
