I am back!
I finally got my blog back up running!
Three years ago I changed my website from HTML coded pages to this blogformat as I was so tired of spending time with technical issues. The coding for the webpages you see when you visit is within the WordPress package that I subscribe to.
Everything is very nice and convenient, -when it works.
The WordPress environment is updated now and then. When I last week choose to update, the blog went down.
My sincere apology to those of you that wanted to visit, but met a blank screen.
After having visited the server and looked at a whole lot of files that didn’t tell me anything, I ended up paying a guy to fix it. Hopeully it will now work properly.
As always, I am happy to hear from you with suggestions to what to write about or question you might have about your own genealogy search.
Glad you got the blog fixed. Though I rarely comment, I do enjoy your blog.
Martin, thank you for taking time & resources to share all you do. Through your words & “you may also like” sections the values & traditions of ancestors & cultural connections are affirmed.
haha, Martin, I think website problems are a bit of a conundrum…
the problems are often easy to solve …. you just have to know what the problem is… 🙂

Thanks for commenting Graeme. While I do have a fascination for technical stuff, I have to choose between reading loads of documentation for the WordPress environment and writing about genealogy. I’d rather write about genealogy 🙂
